American Heart Association BLS CPR

Service Description

At McGonigle Ambulance Service, we offer American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification Classes for anyone age 17 and older who wants to learn lifesaving skills and receive an official AHA BLS Provider certification. This course is open to everyone — including healthcare professionals, first responders, healthcare students, employees, educators, childcare providers, volunteers, and community members who want the confidence and skills to respond during a cardiac emergency. The AHA BLS Provider course provides hands-on training focused on recognizing life-threatening emergencies and responding appropriately. Participants will learn and practice: High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants Proper use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Recognition and response to cardiac arrest Relief of choking emergencies Effective team dynamics and communication during an emergency Upon successful completion, participants will receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider certification card. A photo of the card you will receive is included in this course description for reference. Important Information Before Registering This registration is specifically for the American Heart Association BLS Provider CPR course. Please know which certification card you need before registering. Completion of this course results in an AHA BLS Provider card. A BLS Provider card cannot be changed or exchanged for an AHA Heartsaver card after the course has been completed. If you need an AHA Heartsaver certification card, please contact McGonigle Ambulance Service before registering. We also offer AHA Heartsaver courses and can help ensure you register for the correct class. If you are a daycare, preschool, or childcare provider and require a PQAS Certified (SPDI) instructor, please contact us before registering. We want to make sure you are scheduled with the appropriate instructor and receive the correct AHA certification card required for your needs.
